This policy explains what information GravelCalcUSA.com (“we”, “us”) and our partners collect when you use our free gravel calculator, how it is used, and the choices you have. In short: you don’t need an account and we don’t ask for your name or email. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and the site is supported by advertising and may include affiliate links.

1. Your calculator inputs

The dimensions, materials, prices, and other values you type into the calculator are processed in your browser to produce your estimate. We do not run accounts or a database, and we do not store your project details on our servers. The Copy Order Summary button copies text to your own device’s clipboard; it is not sent to us.

Some general, non-identifying details about how the calculator is used are sent to Google Analytics, as described in the next section.

2. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to see how many people visit, which pages and features they use, and how we can improve the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies, and collects information such as:

• pages viewed, time on page, and the site that referred you;
• device, browser, and operating system type, and screen size;
• approximate location (such as country, state, or city) derived from your IP address;
• interactions with the calculator, such as opening the “Find prices near you” section and clicking a price-search link, including the material selected, the approximate project size, and which retailer or search link was clicked.

Your choices: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use a browser or extension that blocks analytics, or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. The calculator works the same either way.

3. Advertising

GravelCalcUSA.com is a free site supported by advertising. We display, or may display, ads served by Google AdSense and other advertising partners.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• Other ad networks we work with may also use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to measure ads and show ads that may be relevant to you.

Your choices: you can opt out of personalized advertising from Google by visiting Google Ads Settings, and opt out of some other vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices (US) or youronlinechoices.eu (Europe). Opting out doesn’t remove ads; it makes them less tailored to you. Where the law requires it (for example, in the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland), we will ask for your consent before advertising cookies are used.

4. Affiliate and retailer links

The calculator includes optional links to retailers and services, such as Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Google Maps, to help you look up prices and local suppliers. Some of these links may be affiliate links: if you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships never change the calculator’s math or results.

These links open the other site in a new tab and pass along the search terms shown (for example, “pea gravel”), plus any tracking code the retailer’s affiliate program requires. Once you leave our site, that site’s own privacy policy applies, and we are not responsible for its practices.

5. Selling and sharing information

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our advertising and analytics partners may collect identifiers (such as cookie IDs and IP addresses) and information about your browsing through cookies on this site. Under some US state privacy laws, such as California’s, this can be considered “selling” or “sharing” personal information for targeted advertising. You can opt out using the advertising choices in section 3, the analytics choices in section 2, or your browser’s cookie settings. We do not collect sensitive personal information.

6. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live (for example, California or the European Economic Area), you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information about you, and to object to certain processing. Because we do not maintain accounts or store calculator inputs, we generally hold no information that identifies you personally. Analytics data is held by Google; the choices in sections 2 and 3 let you limit collection by Google and our advertising partners. 7. Children

This site is intended for adults planning construction and landscaping projects. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes, for example when we add advertising partners, affiliate programs, or new features. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page.
